Those young scholars work is exemplary. Not even a tropical storm can keep them down.

There’s a tropical storm hitting BR and they still find a way to shoot each other

There’s good Lobdell and bad Lobdell. That far north is very bad Lobdell.

Gentrify everything...

I feel like Government street is trying to gentrify, but the hood has its feet deeply rooted in the ground there. The electric depot area almost had it, until they allowed KOK wings in there - then the culture took over, and all the businesses left.

I know for a fact that Sweet Society left that area because of the "culcha".

Once you cross north of Florida Blvd, all bets are off.

This... There's a saying in BR that is incredibly true, "Florida Blvd is the mason-dixon line of Baton rouge"

I was about to come back and post anything north of goodwood is fricked.

Maybe we should just consider people who live there as "pre-shot" so we don't have to act surprised when it happens.
By this thinking, these people can now be termed "previously shot."
Will be especially helpful when they get shot again.

If this was a t-shirt, I would buy it. Perfect souvenir from your next Mall of Louisiana visit.

As an outsider, if I lived in NO or BR I would get the frick out of dodge, I would take the winters in ND over what goes on there.
