Odds that the new mayor will say anything about this today?
Updated with brief description of each incident.
FRIDAY: A man accused of beating his wife was run over with a box truck the woman commandeered from an Airline Highway gas station Friday so she could get away from him, police said. Aaron Davis, 27, died Saturday of the injuries he received in the bizarre episode.
5:45 P.M. SATURDAY: A Baton Rouge man shot on Alliquippa Street died at a hospital Sunday morning, according to BRPD spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola. John Offord, 30, of Cedar Drive, was found in a vehicle Saturday afternoon suffering from a gunshot wound.
7:30 A.M. SUNDAY: A Baton Rouge woman was found stabbed to death Sunday at a Goodwood Boulevard house. Sara Hernandez, 41, of 8258 Stern Ave., had been stabbed multiple times, said Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola Jr.
5 P.M. SUNDAY: Two Baton Rouge teens died in a shooting Sunday in the 1000 block of South Flannery Road, a Baton Rouge Police spokesman said. Investigators said they believe a drug dispute led to the shooting that left Kenyi Kolok, 19, of 16803 Patton Ave., and Orenthean Daniels, 18, of 4500 Sherwood Commons, dead.

Three in an area that a generation ago, was among the most sure- fire safe/good addresses in Baton Rouge.

No Jussis, No Peace.
Sorry, Mayor SWB and the NBR cronies are too focused on justice for a pedophelic career felon who got put down last year. No time to worry about someone else getting shot every other block in NBR

Its nice to see Baton Rouge adapting to having a democratic mayor so quickly. I honestly thought it would take at least 2 years. #forward #brproud

Like her or not, no one is preventing homicides.

No Alton Sterling, no care

One was a domestic dispute and at least two are drug related.
Anyone have an idea about the woman stabbed off Goodwood or the guy shot in his car? The latter, at least, sounds like a hit or a robbery.

Look at the recipe that BR has created. A mayor that hates cops , judges that hates white people and black sheep that follow fat Gravy into thinking everything is the white mans fault... mix it all together = Thug Nation

That doesn't matter. All that matters is that a white cop shot a black criminal who was trying to get away from them, and armed with a gun. That's the only thing holding the black community down.

In fairness, the one that happened on Friday was a good thing.

Less mouth's for the long night. Grain supply is running low.

She won't say a fricking thing unless it's white on black crime.... she is just like Slim and Gravy.....

No difference between this area and Mayfair, Gardere, pockets off Perkins near Siegen Lane, Tiger Land, St. Jean Apts., etc. Little NBR satellite campus throughout the Parish. The area where all this occurred, at the tail end of Goodwood across Flannery, has been bad for a good while yes, but fortunately it usually stays confined to these areas.
That said, It's time for the mayor to speak out on the rise in shootings. She will lose the confidence of even the people who voted for her.

You must be new to Baton Rouge politics.

There must be a statue somewhere in BR we can take down to help curb all of this violence.
Let's start here.
