A cruise ship could also do the Scharnow turn. Learn something new here everyday. (yeah I just learned the terms, lol)

Yeah it's actually pretty fun too. We used to practice the turns whenever we had time to kill during man overboard drills. It also allows the ship to slow down much quicker than just stopping the engines. Putting the rudder hard over in both directions is a very effective way to kill headway

Yeah I was on the Dream out of Nola last year and 2-3 died over the course of the week. Got back to port of New Orleans and coroner vans all lined up

From my friend that's on the ship.
So a lady gets into an argument with her man and security escorts them out of the dining room and she goes and jumps overboard. So now the ship is going in circles with beam lights searching for her body.

Was this on the departure or return? Most cruise ships from New Orleans leave on the weekend, correct? I would think most suicides are on the return.

My brother & I went on a carnival cruise last year. While eating dinner he shite all in his pants and ruined dinner for the entire dining room. He weighs almost 300lbs and was stopped up from all the Pizza and beer he had been eating all week. It was a big mess in the dining room. We will never go on another cruise because of the way they treated him. They made him sit in the infermary for 4 hours without allowing him to change clothes.

I went on the Triumph back during spring break of '15. Cruises are overrated AF anyways. Drinks are super weak and there are fricking kids everywhere.
