... used or new. Priorities are ample cabin space and reliability. What would you get, and why? Thanks.

My choice as well.. for $40k you might be able to get a 2013 or 2014 with moderately high miles .. but would be a lifetime vehicle... only downside is the crappy MPGs.

I’d wait for the 2021 Bronco to come out.

Don't buy a new vehicle. Save or invest it. Not the fun thing to do but damn sure the most responsible thing.

I drive one and the MPG has not been as bad as advertised in my experience. I rarely, if ever, drive it in stop and go traffic though.

I’ve got a newer model and a 100 series. Love them.

They will look cool no doubt .. but i would never, ever buy the first year of a new model.. always wait for the second or third year at least so that a lot of the kinks will get worked out in production.. Sure, you wont be the first on the block with one, but who cares.

Mazda CX-9

Sporty, third row, good pickup speed and lots of “extras”... do yourself a favor and go at least give one a test drive. (Make sure you try the Touring model)

And it’ll come in slightly under $40k full-loaded
