"SUVs":

Wagons:

Other than 30 or 40 years of styling updates, you tell me the difference between MILF-cruiser SUVs and the 1970s Mommy station wagon. Seat configuration, cargo compartment, relative size compared to a sedan are all about the same. It's just that "station wagon" began to have a negative connotation so the marketing types had to relabel those vehicles. But you're driving a station wagon, whatever you want to call it.

Oh, look. The industry experts even agree

That took a whopping 30 seconds search on the Googles to find. Just take the L, Scooter, and move on.

My 1992 LC just hit the 300k mark...tires, batteries, brakes and timing chain has been what I've spent on this "tank"....of course gas..it is very thirsty.

2020 Mazda CX-9 Premium touring edition with 2nd row captain chairs. 35k

Test drove the telluride and some things felt cheap on the inside and wasn’t as smooth shifting as the Mazda. They look great on the outside but you can tell the quality difference once you sit inside and drive one.

In January we got a 2015 Lexus GX for mid 30s. Took me about 4-5 mths of searching CarGurus to find the one we liked. But it’s a fine vehicle.

To my knowledge, yes.

But I believe they got that worked out with the 2017 models on (and their "fix" has held on our 2014 for 100k miles so far).

Lexus GX 460 or an older 200 series Land Cruiser.
Both will last you a lifetime.

test drove one of these and was blown away.

if OP #1 priority is a family hauler, it's tough to beat this. the interior and cargo space is massive.

Idk why people are downvoting the cx9. It's the best value SUV on the market. Can get one very well equipped for under 37k out the door.
