When people say "SUV" or "Crossover" what they mean is "station wagon".

Not at this time. I’ve got it rigged for overlanding and enjoy looking at it as much as I do driving

Just bought my mom her second Hyundai Santa Fe. Got an SEL model, sun roof, and 2.0T for under 35k ttl. 10 year 100k Mile warranty. Her last one she had no issues with at all. She even filled the damn thing with diesel once.

Same boat dude. Bout pulled the trigger on the GX460, wife declined.

Keep looking at the Telluride. Anyone on the OT have any actual hands own review of owning a Kia? Reliability is was scares me

Haven’t owned one but anecdotally (friends and family) newer (2015 and newer) model Kias seem nearly as reliable as any other offering

Might change as the vehicles age

I'll be leaving the Ford brand. Have looked at the Highlander, GX460 and Tahoe. Wife likes the looks of telluride over all of them. Closest Kia dealership is 70mi away so service would be issue

Big difference between a highlander, GX, and a tahoe

Gonna have to break it down more than that tbh

If it were my money I’d find a used Z71 Tahoe (2015-present model) or Land Cruiser (J200).

Probably the Tahoe because I like buying American.

These two vehicles aren’t even close to being in the same category as far as quality, luxury, and reliability go. No one should ever seriously consider a Tahoe over a Land Cruiser given the choice.

I do because I like buying American and have never had any major problems out of the Chevy’s/GM’s I’ve owned. My wife currently drives a 2017 Tahoe that has had no problems. I have a 1999 Tahoe 2 door I still drive as a second vehicle. It has nearly 250,000 miles on it and is still going strong (only major problem was a transmission at 175,000). I previously had a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali that had no problems and I traded it in last year with 160,000 miles on it.

Also, you can generally get a newer Tahoe with less miles and in warranty for the same price paid for an older Land Cruiser with higher miles and no warranty. The Tahoe will also have more interior space.

I’ve never owned a Land Cruiser, but a couple of friends have. They’re great vehicles. I just have never had a reason to get away from American made except for 3 years with a 4Runner, which I liked, but not as much as a full size American SUV or pickup.
