This is very sad. I have a pre-existing heart condition from birth and am being careful and have to stay home. Getting the bad case would suck for anyone though and it would be a terrible way to die.

I don't even know what to say about this. I don't care if it's Armageddon who the hell tells a mother they can't see their dying child? God almighty

Do you really think you were the first to notice this?

Just stay home. If we do it all together now, then theres a better chance of ending this earlier instead of prolonging it by increasing the spread.

Actually, the opposite is true. We’re going to drag this out for months. The quickest way to end it is to let the healthy of us go back to doing their thing and isolating the elderly and at-risk.

I’m very sorry for April and her family but until I see healthy people dropping, I think my plan is best.

Agree 100%

Actually had Cuomo saying the same thing a few days ago. "Gee whiz, maybe sheltering all the young people with the old people wasn't such a great idea" (I'm paraphrasing).

Isolate people at risk. Healthy people move society and the economy forward.

Well lets see how the O-T turns this into something either political or nasty.
(Coming from a conservative who isnt a JBE fan).

Well, you just did. Though I do agree that people on here get idiotic about this stuff.

I'm a conservative who isn't a JBE fan. I think this is sad . I think people making this political are douche bags.

I keep hoping something like this will help pull people together. At 58, I'm have developed a quite jaded opinion of mankind in general.

Very sad. This virus is going to take a lot of good people before we get it under control. Prayers for her family.

They will receive the same treatment from the same government that you think is so very cool.
Then we'll talk about treatment plans for your mommy.

Did the government say she couldn't see her daughter that worked for the government?

I’ve read two news articles on this young woman’s death and nothing had indicated mom’s inability to be at her bedside.

Sad story.

We should definitely shut down the state and the national economy for another 30 days.

Now that's bullshite. Quarantine me. Shoot me. But if my child is dying, I'm going to be there.

Then we’ll shoot you. What we don’t need is the contagion accelerating, and more people dying, because of stupid asses like you.

No shite! No one has said who cares. Some are looking for evidence - one way or the other - on risks to themselves or their loved ones.
