I fear for my wife's safety at our pharmacy. Not so much from drug addled opioid users. More so from crazed fatasses of whom she can no longer fill their fat medicine because they're not actual Type II diabetics. Getting dangerous out there....

I've been taking it a while.

I have not crapped the bed nor my pants

But I have days when I can't go which to me is worse than shitting yourself. Constipation is the devil.

Like I posted in my personal anecdote, most of the people I know taking it have done just that, but have more than just 20-30lbs to drop. So they've adjusted their lifestyles, are eating healthy, and actually doing regular exercise. So if it helps people like this, inject away I say. That is life-changing for people like that.

They actually just need discipline, but if you’re not taught as a child then you’re probably not going to be able to achieve it as an adult. We live in a world of instant gratification and shortcuts.

I could care less if other people are using drugs like Ozempic, but are they going to continue using it forever or are they going to actually learn proper diet and exercise so they can keep the fat off and rebuild muscle?

Constipation is cured most of the time with exercise. Nothing like jiggling the ole GI tract around to loosen things up.

You absolutely could. I’m happy to admit and discuss that.I used to be a huge piece of shite. Slick back hair. White jeans. Live for new year's eve. I had absolutely no discipline a few years ago when I was 100lbs heavier and an alcoholic. Slowly developing better habits was beneficial for every aspect of my life not just my waist line. I’ve changed. I WAS a piece of shite though.

You know what works like Ozempic but doesn't require an injection?

HIIT and intermittent fasting. Ketogenic dieting.

Like you said, you can count calories and live that lifestyle and/or make your hormones work for you and not against you. It's all about knowledge and effort with the resources we have today. People don't even have the discipline to sit still for a while and learn something they aren't forced to though so I guess Ozempic is better than diabetes.

thats awesome, some need a kick in the arse or a jump start expecially mentally. wegovy helps with alcohol too.

you have to understand everyone isnt you, nor me. I may be into weight lifting and like to workout but not everyone does

Some of you are missing the point. I would like to see some data on how many people have changed their lifestyles in conjunction with taking Wegovy. My only data I have is anecdote, but most of the people I know that are taking it, have also drastically changed their lifestyles as well to avoid the post-Wegovy weight gain.

do me a favor...link me a study that shows you burn BODYFAT faster on a keto diet than any other once calories and protein are a equated.....just fricking 1 study

let me give you a hint...there is not one.

so dont come in here acting all high and mighty when you dont have a frickign clue.

for the record intermittent fasting is just another way to control calories.....again dont lose body fat any faster once calories and protein are equated

These weight loss drugs are particularly bad for people that don’t work out. They’re going to lose more muscle than through consistent calorie reduction, leading to reduced metabolism and requiring further reduction in calorie consumption to lose and maintain weight loss. Exercise completely unnecessary for weight loss anyway.

What is pretty much essential is reducing carbs from the standard American diet and replacing it with high quality protein and fats so that you get control of your cravings and aren’t constantly hungry while developing a healthy diet that is compatible with a healthy body weight. This takes a lot of trial and error for each person to find what is sustainable and works for them.
