re: 28% of food delivery drivers munch on your food in the car, study says

I tip through the app but would prefer to tip cash only directly to the driver. The only reason I don't tip cash only is because I want the driver and the app to see the tip prior to the delivery. I find it awkward to take food from a delivery guy and not immediately hand him a cash tip.

I would imagine the driver can see the tip amount in the app prior to making the delivery.
Does anyone know if they can?

i always appreciate the ones that do this.

yes...a delivery person could always bring a stapler with them and reseal it after taking some food, but most aren't likely that bright. and it can be pretty obvious if someone opened a stapled bag and then restapled it.

also, we use Uber Eats primarily for Indian food delivery, and most of the drivers look like the type that only eat Taco Bell and McDonalds.

I’m guilty. I pick up my parents Chik-Fil-A for lunch every saturday. And there’s no need for them both to get a large waffle fry.
