Just for ease of travel, Vegas. A few good meals there, Sports Book, Top Golf, a couple of clubs, pool time and a show. Thats about as far and the dough would go.

For the time frame and budget, you can fly to Africa, watch the lion king and then fly back.

Vegas, and hopefully coming back with 5k, comped rooms. Spirit has a 2 direct daily flights to Vegas leaving out of New Orleans. Tickets can be relatively cheap at under 100 dollars each way depending on departure day and add ons and booking day.

For what one day.

Even back in the 1990’s Disney has been a money pit.

I could imagine with inflation that Grand is now 10 grand.

You can go, but you can’t hunt for $2,500. At least not for horns anyway.

My friend is a Disney travel agent and I asked her to quote us 4 days for fall break

4 tickets for 4 days with park hopper was $3,400. Yes, $3,400

Just tickets. No flights, hotel, food, souvenirs, etc

Currently got one of these planned for early December

Took advantage of cheap airfare from southwest $200 round trip to NYC

Got a hotel for $800

Booked tickets for The Lion King and Radio City Music Halls Christmas show $600

Food and other stuff will push us over $2500 but we are looking forward to seeing nyc during Christmas season
