Nope. Another guy who uses words he doesn’t know. They are almost exactly the same. They are not “exactly” the same. And they damn sure are not “literally exactly” the same.

According to Nextdoor, that was an antique car backfiring rapidly

It was an attempted car jacking by some thugs while she was stopped at the railroad crossing. She didn't open the door and they tried breaking her window. She tried to get away and that's when they shot the car up and murdered her.

The right people are in prison
I disagree. We need to decriminalize drugs. Anything that is in high demand but is illegal will have crime associated with. Prohibition is the perfect example.
We don't need prisons filled up to the max with people who were in possession of drugs while people who are doing crimes that are more dangerous to society is put back on the streets because there is no space for them.
And while they are in jail, there should be programs to teach them useful skills because, let's say someone is 19 years old. He goes to prison for attempted murder. He gets 12 years in prison. He gets out at 32 what is he going to do? The only thing he knows is the streets. He spent 12 years in jail just to be put back on the street to be a threat to people again.
But how many people are the same person at 31 as they were at 19? You give people self confidence and a skill they are more likely going to become more of an asset to society than a burden. Of course there will be some people it will not help, but overall I think it would be beneficial.
And with all of these private ran prisons. They are not going to do anything that will cost them money. And they love the fact drugs are criminalized because it keeps their prisons filled which means the state pays them more money.
So if drugs are decriminalized, that's a lot less people going to jail, frick the private companies, get rid of them and use that extra money to provide some type of training to prisoners.

The LSU community is sadden to hear of senior Allison Rice being killed overnight.
Posted on 9/16/22 at 2:11 pm to choupiquesushi
EBR Mayor President Sharon Weston Broome issued a statement in response:
My heart goes out to the family, loved ones, and classmates of Allison Rice, a young LSU student who had her entire life ahead of her. This senseless violence is completely unacceptable and Baton Rouge Police officers are thoroughly investigating to bring the perpetrator to justice.
Our university community is an essential part of the fabric of Baton Rouge. It is of the utmost importance as we welcome students from across our state and the nation that we create a safe environment. I am coordinating a meeting with LSU and Southern University’s Presidents, BRCC Chancellor, Student Government, BRPD and East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office to discuss safety for all of our college students in Baton Rouge.
I urge anyone with information about this senseless crime to please contact Baton Rouge Police Department or Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers.

Why do we 'now know that'?
Rudy Giuliani has always been touted as the guy that turned the crime around in NYC but now isnt. Im assuming its Trump related as usual. Fwiw, I think Rudy sucks going all the way back to the 80s and his illegal tactics going after the mafia.
