I own a 2023 Toyota Tacoma V6. It’s an SR5, not TRD. I paid $40k and change for it in late 2022. It just turned 15,000 miles, and it’s financed for 48 months. I don’t have much doubt that I could trade it in today and make a nice profit.

Might be worth more than that since domestic truck makers are pretty much hot garbage but thinking they're worth their weight in gold, and this is a V6. It will last forever. Literally, it might last forever. Buy it now.

Before buying that Tacoma, I suggest to go look at and test drive new Nissan Frontier. You probably can get a new Frontier for not much more than $36k.

Not to mention the 4.0l Tacoma was the superior truck. And even it wasn't as reliable as the 2012 to 2020 4.0l frontier. Comparing the newer frontier to the previous gen Tacoma is basically a cripple fight. But at least the frontier only has adhd while the 2023 has Camry engine aids.

They’re not moving on price. Traded in my 2019 Tacoma TRD Off-road with just over 42,000 miles 1 1/2 years ago for only $2,000 less than what I paid for it.

Lil over $700

So by the time you’ve paid it off you will have paid $45K for a $35K truck worth $25K.

Wasn’t spending 40 on a used truck worth 20 with 60-80k miles and high interest rates.

Got lower interest rate (which is still high) on new truck. This truck will be paid off in less than 3 years.

About right. They hold value better than most. I have a 22 TRD OR with 18k miles. Planning on letting my boy drive it. I’m trying to decide now what I want for myself. Can’t seem to find dealers doing much on New Tundra pricing.

Been looking for a used car for months. Baton Rouge area dealers wouldn't budge on price or trade in value. Finally found one in Longview Texas. They were set on the price too but was 4k cheaper for same vehicle year and miles and got $500 more on trade in. They're a volume dealer. Try expanding your search if you're able to.

I did drive the truck and it was great, cannot find anything wrong with it. I found it interesting that it has been sitting on the lot for close to 6 months according to car edge. I went to digging into the car fax and it was a rental and at one point had 6000 miles put on it in 3 months. I find it curious that the price is similar to others on the market but this one has been for sale for 167 days and no one has bitten. They did start the pricing at 40,000 when first offered according to car edge which tracks vehicle
Pricing and they have been nickel
And diming it a few hundred bucks every so often.
