I wish they’d start the one up on Vestavia again. I don’t think any of my work is worthy or on the same level of what some guys do. But I enjoy doing it.

I had heard for a while that they were going to do it again. They lost the gym at the high school and the main guy over was older. I think he just didn't want to fool with it anymore.

If you ever get up to Huntsville check out RC Hobbies. They have alot of military kits.

Not often. It’s been a while. I need to go check them out again soon. My work has me driving all around the B’ham metro area daily so running by one of the hobby shops there is display quite easy.

What do you build?

Not models, really. I have in the past, but don't have the time right now. I got the arbor press for leather work. I've found uses for some of their miniature tools in some of the other work I do with woodworking.

I have a couple friends that build, though. I end up at the shows with them.

I used to love building them when I was younger. You are a fantastic builder sir! That is some mighty impressive work! Really enjoyed viewing them.

Very nice. My father built them for years. Had them all over his office, the house, hanging from the barn rafters. Haven’t seen a collection in awhile. He had model trains too.

I liked sniffing the glue.

It’s a night fighter version on the BF-110. This specific one is from 1. Nachtjagdgeschwader 3

We used to tape bottle rockets to them to try to make them fly. It rarely worked.

I like to do history/sci fi/fantasy models I just started and i suck but it’s still fun even if you suck. I haven’t built any model vehicles yet but probably will one day.

Here’s some examples of some online. I’m not 1/50 as good as these.

Very nice work indeed! You're very talented and it shows. I know what you mean by private sanctuary-I"m into "O" guage model trains and when I get into my shop and close the door all else melts away. Congrats on the great work!

Very nice work, Mr Thompson.

Always thought he would be younger, but 40 work years puts him in my generation.

That's cool and all, but when the hell do you have time for this? How old are your kids?
