The bars closing was a recent thing. If the virus is so infectious (which I know it is), then the damage was already done. And bars across the country are still open. People are flooding grocery stores but of course that’s okay bc the virus doesn’t go in grocery stores.

Yep, people are overrunning stores, handling germ ridden shopping carts then freaking out over a peaceful assembly of people in a restaurant or church.

People are easily persuaded with simple propaganda.

The fact that it's believed that most people, especially those who are younger, are following the social distancing guidelines is hilarious to me.

Well bars are literally closed so how are they bar hopping?

Now give us stats in Italy’s daily deaths.

Because all this was put in place to avoid an Italy/Spain situation, not because it’s already at that level.

No I mean vs normal daily like he did for the US.

The reason why he didn’t because it is up 20% compared to normal for them.

Do you have a link to back this up? I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a single day with 1,000 deaths reported yet, much less it being the average.

It isn't spreading now any faster than four months ago. We're just catching it in testing.

Nothing was shut down until two weeks to a month ago. Jesus, if it's as contagious as you guys make it seem to be, you think months of worldwide travel it was just chilling waiting like 'nah, I'm just going to hang out here in China' This has been spreading for months. At this point everyone has been exposed already. The damage is done. If it's a global pandemic like the CDC thinks it is we should have mountains of body bags. We still aren't seeing that.

Wrong.

Pandemic spread is exponential and this has a fairly depressed start.

While the lag in testing definitely means it isn’t spreading quite as fast as the numbers would indicate, that number is steeply going up and it is certainly not “everywhere.”

If you use SK’s extensive population testing as a rough baseline, there are fewer than 20k infected in the US.

Sorry if that cramps the style of those that wanted to attribute every sniffle they got or heard about in December to corona.

so 0.0001% of the world population.
Basically 1 in a million.

There hasn't even been a single day world wide since this started that 1,000 people have died from it.

You don't know what an average is dumbass.
