Yeah, I am guessing drugs played a part as I assume they were stealing and pawning the stuff for drug money.

Local news said the warrant was for failure to appear, but I don't know what the appearance was about. This not a bad neighborhood, also.

Forsyth is the richest county in GA now. Sorry that cobb sucks now. It was a great county until recently.

Wild story, I grew up in that neighborhood until my freshman year of high school. It's in a tweener area between wealthy West Cobb and some of the less desirable parts of the county. Obviously some undesirables made it into the neighborhood.

A guy I went to HS with is a Cobb County Sheriff deputy and I'm scared to find out if he was one of those killed or not.

Cobb is still just fine. Forsyth is far enough out of town, it has been later to develop than other areas. Which meant there was plenty of land for very wealthy neighborhoods to spring up, especially since the previous inhabitants weren't exactly ready to drive a tough bargain when selling.

It looks like a nice neighborhood in the "nice" part of Marietta.
I lived in a duplex off of Booth Rd for a few years as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s and it was already turning into a ghetto shithole then. Thank god we moved to Woodstock.

As a Kennesaw Native who grew up there in the 80's and 90's, and having an elderly father who still maintains his primary residence there, I'm gonna have to disagree with you, respectfully.
