I make a living defending suits filed by them. Some of them are good people, but a lot of them are also scum. They give the whole profession a bad name.
I appreciate the objectivity - - but it is a two-way street counselor. But, my guess is you are probabaly one of the straight shooters.

There are other lawyers mentioned in the most recent indictment. Wouldn’t be hard to cross reference with suits filed on behalf of the new defendants.

They just list them as Attorneys C, D, and E. No names used.

I am pretty sure some of the older threads on this have gone down the rabbit hole to figure who the other attorneys were.

I did not fear him as much as a I disliked him....intensely. I caught some shite from him when I made a comment that he did not like about his relationship with the company that was selling the polyester pants that he tried to force all of us to buy.

Some interesting things from Garrison's (the one who started working with the Feds and was murdered) 11/13/19 302 (Dkt #98):
Damn, this goes back much earlier and much wider than it seemed.
quote:
According to Garrison, Giles “wanted [Garrison] to bring [The King Firm] 25 cases per month.” Gov. Ex. A, p. 1. Garrison and Slammer H staged so many collisions for The King Firm that they “had to take breaks . . . because The King Firm had to replenish the funds for staging accidents.”
quote:
In or about 2006 or 2007 Attorneys XXXX wanted someone to stage accidents for them. XXXX was facilitating staged accidents for them at the time and introduced GARRISON to them so he could facilitate staged accidents.
***
GARRISON was still in contact with XXXX. THE KING FIRM was the most dangerous group involved in staged accidents because they were "connected to the streets." JASON GILES was the main Attorney involved at the firm, but XXXX and XXXX were as well.
***
Attorneys from Seattle, Washington, and Denver, Colorado, put a lot of money into staging accidents in Louisiana. XXXX from Colorado was a major financier. The staged accident scheme was too hot in Louisiana so they wanted GARRISON to go to Colorado to facilitate staged accidents. XXXX, late 30's, was an associate of XXXX who flew to New Orleans to meet GARRISON, then they both flew to Denver, CO. GARRISON was
offered $3,000 per person to facilitate staged accidents. GARRISON declined the offer because Colorado was too cold for him.
About five months ago an Attorney from Houston, Texas, asked GARRISON to facilitate staged accidents for him.
Two people were killed in Seattle, Washington, about two years ago because they talked about the staged accident scheme.
Damn, this goes back much earlier and much wider than it seemed.

What in the hell is that article on page one? Every single sentence, no matter how short, is it's own paragraph.

Well, I guess Alfortish won't be training horses anymore, with Motta forking out the cash to claim box. He's a total POS that was head of HBPA in Louisiana, and stole money to fund cruises, gifts, cars, , and vacations. Thanks to the feds, there are less scumbags roaming the streets.
I doubt he trains anymore hes pretty much toast. He has one in Sunday at FG lets see if the horse is scratched or not.

God damn. I thought the Russian mob or organized crime rumors were a bit much but maybe not after seeing that.
The recent indictment also has a juicy nugget about Giles. It alleges Lebeaud bought him jewelry and Giles shared intimate personal details with Lebeaud

Looks like someone’s bio has been removed from The King Firm website.
