Definitely. Genro put it perfectly. We have become more atomized and have replaced genuine human interaction with virtual. Moral relativism is replacing the virtues and traditions that used to form the fabric of our society. Humans weren't meant to evolve to what they are now.

Your descendants will be taught an incredibly simplistic biased view, and made to feel they are now more enlightened than you.

I don't think I'm more enlightened than you. I'm not an urban chic person, or a hipster. I'm a conservative, normal dude who hates most things about progressivism but also hates seeing people align with my ideology that want to rewrite history to make themselves feel better. In other words, I don't want people to associate me with your racial/ethnic/religious rants just because we vote the same way.

I don't think you're old enough to ever have to adapt. You'll see things differently some day.
There is no "better decade" period. All have had strengths and weaknesses. Technology rocks today, but the people absolutely suck. Whiniest decade ever. People whine about everything and feel entitled.

We've got a situation where woman still instinctively, naturally, obviously want a man to take care of them. But they never admit to themselves, and will fight it tooth and nail in their words even though their actions show it and somewhere deep down they know. And guys who act like feminists don't understand why the douchebags get the girls. It's making everyone miserable.
