So if this officer would've tried to taze the knife weilder and missed, or it didn't stop her from stabbing the other girl...
There would be just as much outrage from the onlookers, and they'd be screaming "WHY DIDN'T HE DO MORE?!?!"
We can't fricking win these days, and it seriously has me reconsidering my career for the first time ever. This officer's life will be ruined over this, protecting the other party in this scenario as part of his job.
Bad week for us law enforcement officers, damn. I'm legitimately disheartened and feeling pretty down about my career choice, which I considered pretty noble and brave when I stepped up to take it.
My only saving grace is that the US Marshals haven't had one of these viral instances, but I feel like it's coming and only a matter of time.

China and India are obviously the only two countries with over a billion people.
The United States government kills its citizens at a rate closer to what you would see in a 3rd world, South or Central American country.
Columbia, Mexico, Pakistan are all infinitely more dangerous than the states yet they have a much lower rate of killings by police when adjusted for population.

How many worldstar videos do we need to see before we just say that certain segments of society enjoy big stupid fights and encourage their children to participate? At some point we need to just keep it confined but otherwise ignore it.
