its been going downhill for a while now. ever since the 24/7 craze hit and then LA fitness got here and took a bunch of people away too. The people that i see in there now have been going there for a while for the most part. I like going there still just because its not as packed as most places.

That neighborhood wasn't nearly as bad when Foxy's originally opened.

I was a member there from '94-'08. Their peak and heyday was late 90's to early 2000's. that place was a meat market

Pic of suspect (arrested):

Octavio Bringas, 49.

According to police sources, Bringas is believed to be a neighbor. He was caught near the Texas state line and it is believed he was trying to make a run for it.

Member from 97-04 and you are so correct. That place was pure gold in the late 90s.
Nice club too. Mike ran it well.

You could say that about every ratty arse crime ridden trailer park and hood out there.

They are nothing but economic and social drains.

If you razed all the section 8 housing to the ground, built giant housing projects in the middle of nowhere and told people "if you want to live free off the working man's dollar, here's your new home." We'd be better off.

Section 8 gives people no incentive to better themselves or their station in life, or even to appreciate what they have.

RIP...jeez that shithole of a neighborhood should be bulldozed and something useful put in it's place

Lived in duplex S Park '79-'80 kinda close to GMC dealer. A little sketchy with a few bad apples, but not really bad at all. Nice gals at the pool on most summer days.

My parents had one of the duplex's back there in the early 80's also, close to that community pool but
man what a great place to go and hangout when you're a 13 yr boy, so many hot woman in spandex i would just walk around in amazement trying to hide my boner
The racquetball pro would hook me up with chocolate banana smoothies for helping out around the place
my 1st "job and i'll always remember him for that

my office is right around the corner on Jeffrey
Been there 13 years

cant leave anything outside even for a second, and every day there's used condoms around the back of my lot. during the day it's fine but I would not want to be around there at night. I'm shocked nothing has happened in foxys parking lot

all those apartments south of Jeffrey to south park are a 100% shithole
right in the middle of the coursey/Sherwood/airline business corridor
it's ridiculous
