He did a pretty good job. No chair-back on that cut. 5/10 for leaving that large of a stump. probably being a bitch about dulling the chain.

There's no money in planting trees for the carbon neutral fanboys.

These are the world’s nut balls, who don’t concern themselves with people and the lives they would live in the wake of their insane legislation as they do their zealous adherence to their utopian agendas, and they are running the show. These people are super dangerous for mankind, and they have their claws in governments all over the globe, and their influence is felt here as well, our very own unelected lobbying magistrates, influencing politics yet unelected and citizens of places far removed from the countries they wield influence in.

People that do crap like that needs to be exterminated

Now hold up, first we need to find out if it was with malice or just a terrible accid....

At the very least he should be casterated so that he can not reproduce.

That’s a helluva clean cut for a 16 year old.

Too many tree huggers in this thread.

100%
Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s how they caught his dumb, mean-spirited arse.

No respect for anything and anyone. Those kind of people are flawed and dont change.
It is infuriating

I’ll be honest other than it having been in a movie I don’t see anything special about that tree.
You mean, other than it being a living organism, 300 years old, standing there through good and bad weather, minding its own business, not bothering anyone ... only giving joy and good memories to those who stood in its shade?
You're one of the reasons why trees have been, and will be, around a lot longer on this planet than humans. Trees don't need us, we need them.

You know, if it were me, and I were so driven by fear of our carbon footprint on the planet, I’d be super busy planting as many trees as I could, and encouraging everyone else to do the same,
I’ve asked this 100’s of times…. No answer. None.
If it’s “an emergency”… you act. You don’t call it an emergency and just cry and wail. You don’t see a relative have a heart attack and then say “this is an emergency!! Someone should do something!!” And then walk away.
The obvious answer is, but they don’t want to admit it, but planting trees is actual work and there is no money to be grifted off of it. It’s a cost to them…. Where grifting is money.
Anyone is free to tell me I’m wrong. Then I’ll give you directions to some of my land you can plant some black walnut, white oak, and your choice of maples and sycamores on.

Buy a large tract of wooded land/swampland and lease tracts to corporations to help them meet carbon neutral targets.

No thanks. North America needs more native grassland and grassland prairie to support a wider range of biodiversity, instead of hardwood forests.
North America has more trees now than it did 100 years ago.

No worries. I can clear pine beetle damaged pine to make way. The open land can remain the same. The dead/dying pine provides no benefit.
We can replace with hardwood.
