That’s a pretty good cut for a 16 year old

Same.
A 300 year old tree next to a nearly 2000 year old wall and this a-hole cuts it down.
It's in a national park near what is probably a top 5 most famous wall in the world. How was he able to cut it down completely without being caught?

300 years of tree'ing down the drain.

The demographics of rural England give them a lot of time on their hands

I’ll be honest other than it having been in a movie I don’t see anything special about that tree
But there is no point in cutting it down either

I mean it’s kind of impressive. Look at that cut, it’s very clean and well done.
It was a beautiful tree. What a shame and I get the outrage. But tomorrow I’ll wake up and be on with my life and never think of this tree again.

I think it's rational....j/a for no reason destroyed something that won't be able to grow back in my lifetime.
I wanted that picture.. And planned to go in April 2020, but covid prevented that. Was planning to go in May 2024 but this j/a took care of that
