I would like to live out in the country. The only real drawback from living that far out is lack of broadband.
Television is importable via sat.
Starlink won't be around much longer so one can't rely on that for broadband.

I have two places to live already. Both in similar areas that have been mentioned already so, just gimme the 15 mil and I’ll upgrade my boat. 42’ Freeman please.

But I was responding to another poster, not the op. I wasn't talking that into account.

I would leave the country with 15 million. Our southern border is going to be the end of the county. No reason to stay here with that kind of wealth.

I'm dying to hear where you are going.

I would definitely leave the country but to where that is safe will require a lot of research. Is anywhere really safe if you are wealthy?

That's a good answer. No state taxes, however the property taxes more than make up for it if you buy a nice home.

I am familiar with some areas around Salt Lake City, and there are some good answers there, even though it's not a warm area. The towns of Midway and Kamas would be a good starting area. The summers are very nice, the fall and spring are perfect, and the winter - while occasionally ugly - is usually reasonably good. Crime is extremely low, and based on demographic trends, is likely to remain that way. Plus it is in a very conservative state and an hour away from a big city with an international airport.

I'm sure there are some great places in Wyoming, Idaho and Montana too, but the proximity to a big city would be less.

I genuinely don't understand all of the Texas answers here. Texas is place to make money and leave as soon as you can.
