Franklin TN.

If not there, somewhere in Florida.

I don’t get the sentiment that all the people who deliberately live around lots of other people are viewed as angry, and all the people who answer with I want to live far from people are viewed as happy. The wanna be hermits on a ranch come across as scared and angry about everything.

I would definitely leave the country but to where that is safe will require a lot of research. Is anywhere really safe if you are wealthy?

If people don't know you're wealthy then yes.

If you buy a $15 million home, you've outed yourself

I would love a farmhouse on about 20 acres. 10 acres of pasture land and 10 of hardwoods. Things I would need.

1. Metal roof
2 Wrap around porch
3. Huge oak trees in front
4. Barn / Huge shop to store equipment
5. Multiple fireplaces
6. Outdoor Kitchen, with fireplace able to cook on
7. Drive way with oaks
8. Awesome fence around the property.
9. 6 bedrooms
10. Master that faces east with porch / french doors to watch the sunrise.

Probably not too far off from what I would choose as well. Could get something on the intracoastal there or on IOP.

A nice but not ostentatious place in Utah and the same in Florida, as well as multiple smaller places nearby that would be VRBOs when my family wasn’t using them.

One thing I’m learning as I get older is that I do not enjoy having a lot of stuff/property/etc to take care of.

if you had 15 mil ready, where do you recommend a safe place to purchase a home to raise a family in america? warmer climate is preferred.

No way would I spend 15 million on a home, that's a waste of $$. The only warm climate state I would move to would be Florida.

West Palm Beach has above average schools, relatively low crime and access to Bahamas. Top three city in U.S. where millionaires are buying second homes.

Do I have to limit myself to just one home?

For that price I'd buy a decent ranch and a couple of other nice homes in places that I like.

I'd buy up several thousands of acres in southeastern Oklahoma somewhere around the general vicinity where I am.

I'd build a nice house and hire a guy with an Oklahoma State ag degree to manage the cattle operation and hunting game animals.

Exactly. I'm a guy, I dont need a 15 million dollar home, but I'd like 15 million worth of land or toys to play on it.

I've always loved to be anywhere that the mountains meet the sea but unfortunately, those places (except Alaska) attract wild eyed liberals.

Don’t worry there’s not going to be a bidding war over real estate in Oklahoma anytime soon. I myself could think of 100 locations in the USA I’d pick before anywhere in the sooner state.
