Interesting, the one on the student loans and bankruptcy sounds like a gamble to me

Trust us. That will NOT work now. I would have back in 90s to early 2000s but 100% will fail now and could land you in Federal Pound me in the arse prison.

also another way to frick Wal Mart

you can return anything under $50 without a receipt, or at least you could, so you can walk in, grab something for like $40, and walk it straight to the front to return it, normally for store credit

we might have used this for beer in college a few times...

Get a gun, walk up to a bank and point it at a teller. They will give you money. #lifehack

You absolutely can, and I have all my student loans on auto pay with my CC.

This is precisely why many flights these days only take cash.

I have never been on a flight where cash was accepted at all. Cards only.

Now you could in theory pay $30k in student loans across 5 credit cards and then just default on the cards. Then wait for notices of legal action and settle with each one for ~half the balance. Wouldn't be a total hack but credit won't have a bankruptcy on it and you'd pay half your student loans.

Bankruptcy won’t discharge student loans. Get 50k in credit, pay off student loans. make minimum payment for 6 months. Stop paying for 6 months. Let them go to collections. File for bankruptcy. Bankruptcy will cost you $2k. You are now debt free. Honestly, this is the only get-out-of-jail-free card left for graduates who are underemployed. ~ spicy_fries -

Baby boomers were the ones who routinely filing bankruptcy to discharge their student loans right after graduation. That's why student loans currently have bankruptcy protection.
