People in LA like to make fun of Ruston saying it’s a “boring town”, but I never feel a way about it because everybody up here is fine and safe. There are always incidents, sure, but we don’t deal with near the same amount of bullshite as you other baws.

Keep your trash on the south shore and it's not a conversation.
The solution is to take down one span of the Causeway and remove the railing of the remaining span. It will be a much safer commute and deter people from moving over her.

When da gubmint says dey wants dey money, I do not believe you are able to give them a ration of attitude for payment. They will eventually come and you will have to explain it and work out a payment plan.

Anyone who knows anything about St. Tammany knows that Lacombe and Slidell can be problematic. Means little or nothing to the rest of the parish.

It’s nothing like in our day when you were on your own and they didn’t even publish study guides. Why do they do this you ask? It’s all about the money. Higher scores=more money from state and federal gumments. School districts aren’t going to risk losing out on the money.
The public school where I live does the same shite and then they all beat their chest about it too. 30 is the new 24.

Even taking your argument at face value, a high ACT score increases a kid’s chances of getting into a good college and getting more scholarship money. Sounds like a win win and exactly the reason we bought a house in the Mandeville High school district planning for our kids’ future.

At 14 he's in his parents control only if he wants to be in their control. Maybe standard discipline will work with this kid, or maybe he needs the psych ward, or maybe he needs prison.
One of the most important things is that parents need to know that when they send their kids to school, they will be safe and that disruptive, violent, snd criminal kids will not be there.

Lakeshore has Lacombe trash and a weak administration. When Monson was at Lakeshore they had school spirit and the respect of the students. Now that he is at Mandeville High, that school is really excelling and he is bringing in the top teachers and coaches. MHS is by far the best public school on the Northshore.
