I can see a picture of rig legs in 400’ of water that look as clear as a 3D Ultrasound.
And this dude believes no one has seen this before, no one has dived it, no one has got a line caught up on any of this?
If any of his hypothesis were remotely accurate, it would be the speck and mangrove snapper captital of the world.

Meanwhile, in 2011, archaeology professor Rob Mann postulated that the granite could be the remnants of an attempt to erect an artificial reef in the 1940s. Although he claimed that searching underwater wouldn’t yield any more answers.
Don't look underwater, it couldn't possible yield an answer. Thank god for the scholarly folks telling us don't look. We might find an answer if not for these professors.

The Indian Mounds on campus are already recognized as the oldest known man-made structures in the Americas
I don't think this is true. It's highly disputed.
The LSU geology department published a publication that called them the oldest man made structures in Americas. However, there methods have largely been debunked. no one ran with that story. They are doing better tests to pinpoint the date.

I, too, have heard the tales of an ancient race of men who fished these shores, when crawfish were plentiful and prices steady...

So you are telling me the seas rose enough 12,000 years ago to cover a city under 230 feet of water.
Correct. Sea levels rose rapidly at the end of the last ice age roughly 12000 years ago.

It’s buried under a couple hundred feet if silt. It’s just scattered debris that’s being found on the surface
