Anything under 10 lbs, I just use target loads from walmart. A box of 100 is $35. beyond that you have to shop around. Ammo seek or ammo in stock subreddit are starting points.

12 ga has become my favorite all around gun. Can shoot shotshells, buckshot, slugs, pistol cartridges with an adapter and I even made an arrow launcher that uses 38 special blanks. Also use as muzzle loading shotgun with a home made adapter.
