I don't remember it being carbonated but just looked it up and it looks like it started out as a carbonated sports drink but reviews were pretty bad about it not really quenching people's thirst so they removed the carbonation.

A carbonated Gatorade type drink sounds awful

Peak flavor!

This is a hill I'll die on. The greatest flavor of sports drink ever was 10K Pink Lemonade.

When my dad would take me fishing the ice chest was full of 10-k and RC cola.

Same, except he and my grandfather had a few Miller High Life ponies in there too.

I just remember there being a carbonated sports drink, and it was terrible. Like drinking a Coke after a hard workout.

10-K was the K-mart version of gatorade back in the 90s

It wasn’t though. Gatorade was a Florida based drink and 10-K a Louisiana based one.

Are they bringing back the Ice Tea flavor?

10K had a product placement in some Seinfeld episodes when they were at the gym.

Quick kick was the original Gatorade invented at LSU before Florida invented Gatorade. True story.

Gatorade was already nation wide when 10-k came out. 10-k was regional and then Coca-cola threw money at powerade and killed it off

Sqwicher was another one. Sold mostly thru indistrial distributors to end users, contractors.

Who still has their 10-k ice chest?
I tried to buy one off a friend of mine. Offered her $300 for a mint cooler. She said no.

Quick Kick was created in 1958 by Dr. Martin J. Broussard, a legendary athletic trainer at Louisiana State University (LSU). It is recognized as one of the first sports drinks, predating Gatorade by seven years. The drink was initially known as Bengal Punch and was designed to hydrate athletes effectively

Are you thinking of Vault?

Nah. I'm thinking of a drink in the late 80s early 90s. Vault was a mid 2000s drink I believe.

Who remembers “Sports Shake” (early 90s)?

It was basically like drinking straight condensed milk from a can. But it gave you energy before 8 year old baseball games!

So does All Sport. Both brands get sold by the cases down here a lot to places. Squinchers used to give away a mini freezer if you ordered a pallet of cases.
