there is no mandatory retirement age for paid protesters

and that study is wrong because i guaranty you the 47% living off the gubment spend every penny they get each month because that is how the system is set up.

if you save "anything" and put money in the bank, your benefits get cut so if you have money in the bank your monthly dole gets reduced.

they are basically blackmailing people into staying poor so they never have any incentive to save any money when you get penalized for doing it

I’m wondering how they are going to screw over those who did the Roth’s. That is where we are going to get screwed.

Take a look at the state of AL. Kay Ivey sweet talked everyone into investing into a college fund, and when the market crashed, she just said "frickkkkk, my bad. I will run for governer now."

I know people that live month to month. They have houses, cars, plenty of dining, vacations, etc They just spend all they make.

I worked at a smalltown bank in the 1970s, at that time the average person used the bank for all of their financial needs, mortgages, car loans, savings and investments. Most people that looked like they were living well had a ton of debt, no net worth, and were only concerned with if they could make their monthly payments. Seems like things shave not changed at all.

So true. But it will be some sort of "tax" on 401k's at 45%

, people have been saying this for years and it hasn't even come close to happening.

It won't happen for a litany of reasons.

We already have a democrat senator who is a leading voice in politics and could be her party’s nominee for president saying to business owners “You didn’t earn that!”

And wages have been fairly stagnant while everything else has increased, bc America has lost a lot of jobs over that time. America was the richest country in the world by a lot, its narrowed over 30 years though, and it shows in the lack of wage growth. Costs have increased at the same time, so it’s not as cheap to live as it was then. We are falling back to the rest of the world, where the middle class and the poor have it a lot more difficult

Doesnt surprise me. Ive seen first hand how one disaster (Flood/Hurricane/Fire/etc) can wipe out savings/retirement funds. Or put a major dent in it. Harvey wiped out all my savings and a little of my 401k.

But but...my wife has a Range Rover lease and the bank said it was fine to loan us $450,000 on a 30 yr mortgage when we only put 2% downwind we have combine income of $80k.

Surely the nice man at the bank would not loan us that much if it wasn’t a good idea, right ? right?

Because the bulk of boomers haven't retired yet. But there is a huge deficit looming.

Is that why Boomer are so unprepared?

Democrat party today is not the democrat party of 20 years ago.

It is highly progressive and becoming more so with each passing year.
