Both Louisville and Lexington only average around 12-13 inches a year (EKU typically sees more).

I’m wondering why the temperature is going up and down in unusual ways with this one. Like going up late at night, back down during the day, etc.

Plain and simple, because winter weather is the hardest to predict.
This is why long range click bait winter wx forecasts are laughable and to be ignored

Little Rock keeps showing freezing rain in the future cast but when it comes time, it’s been snow. Showing freezing rain most of the night but praying it turns to snow.

Our fav Meteorologist Zach has taken his hands off his wife’s weather balloons long enough to post that “Thunder Ice” is coming soon to CENLA

We were already at 10 inches before this weekend

I'm going to let you in on a secret. That was really only 6 inches.

My wife opened Apple weather on her phone earlier and said yup it says we got 12” of snow already. I looked outside at the 4-6” of sleet on the ground and figured no use trying to explain this to a woman.

Good news so far no freezing rain and the fridge is full of beer/food.

I'm surprised Caddo and Bossier are as low as they are given what the surrounding parishes have.

I hope that everyone on TD is okay. My aunts are without power in rural DeSoto Parish but that is worst I have heard so far.

The weekend is going to be rough even for airports not impacted by the storm as planes are out of position.

UA and WN are doing the best cancellation wise out of the big 4. What's her HNL-HOU/IAH flight number?

Parents and my brother and his family are still with power in Shreveport. Parent's place in WNC is getting hammered but they have a neighbor staying there watching the place.
