You may hear a lot about the "Euro Model" or what the NOAA "goofus" says. I commissioned a handy chart with accurate details. Feel free to bookmark.

Can someone tell me what to expect in BR and south of BR, or tell me where to find it?
Some models show that it could just be a cold and rainy January day, but the least accurate model, that we like using the most in these situations says that this could be a severely dangerous winter storm the likes of which we have never seen. Follow us on facebook, instagram, youtube, x & our storm tracker app for lots of colorful maps and the most up to date information.

I've got a fireplace too.
Is that what the gas is for?

Cold rain.
Maybe a little freezing rain? BR should have very little impacts other than the weather being cold and rainy, which kidna sucks.

On the ground in North AL:
I went to Walmart yesterday, mainly for normal shopping, but I did go earlier than I planned to maybe beat the madness. Took a trip down the heater aisle......all kerosene heaters are gone. Snow shovels up front looked untouched, as did the portable Walkabout charcoal grills. All but one jug of "heater fuel" was gone. I strolled to the camping section and grabbed a new can of Coleman camp fuel for the camp stove. They had several cans of it.
The milk and bread situation was still good, though there was no half & half for some reason and the Lewis bread truck had apparently not ran for the week so I had to go with another option. I imagine today was a lot worse.

How do you do that? I tried to figure it out for a severe weather thread once, but never could.

Which is funny because it is the same company.

You guys could pick apart the Mona Lisa.
I've been needing another gas can for a while, so I went a head and grabbed one while I was there.
With the amount of gas storage I have now adding these 5 more gallons, I can run my generator 2.5 days before having to go get more gas. It also runs on propane so there is a little more running time with my 2 propane tanks I use for crawfish season.
ETA: This is what I have. Westinghouse Dual Fuel. Mine is a little older and is 5500 running watts and 6500 peak watts. It will run a bunch of stuff...
