Would you take Cam Skattebo in the 2nd round?

I know he’s projected anywhere from the 3rd to 5th round and he won’t blow away the scouts at the underwear olympics with his speed but I don’t really care what he runs. There’s some guys that all you have to do is watch them play and you know they will succeed wherever they play. We need young RB so why not go get one that not only runs like a bulldozer but that also be a threat catching the ball out of the backfield? We are many more players away to having a competitive team but you’ve got to start somewhere and this kid is like Taysom in that he isn’t just a RB, he’s a football player that could be an all-pro if we can get some interior OL worth a shite next to McCoy.

No. Way more pressing needs on the roster. Just take one that falls at the end of the third.

no shot in hell.
We're already slower than shite at the RB position. The last thing we need is another plodder. We need a dude that has a real chance of breaking it if he gets through the line of scrimmage. Now in the 5th-7th round sure. But drafting a guy like him in the 2nd is how a bad team becomes worse. You don't pay an insane premium on a running back, especially one like him.

My mock draft simulators have both the Ohio state RBs in the 3rd. I'd prefer either

No. Tired of crappy oline and dline play.

Likely not to happen, so get someone that can make thru a hole that's not there.

Absolutely in the 3rd or later. That dude is so versatile. Almost like another Taysom.

Only a moron would spend a second on a guy project 3-5.

Thankfully, you are not a scout for the Saints...or are you?

You hear that about guys who wash out all the time.

No the dude has a problem holding onto the ball.

I like him. Its also a deep RB draft. Would not waste a high pick on him

Except Taysom doesn't run like he's in quicksand. Love the toughness, but no way he's top back like Kamara, or versitile as Taysom...

In the 5th or 6th round? Sure.
In the 2nd? Hell no!

I'd say yes but we need other positions first
