Then he'd be on par but I don't see that happening. Shough would have to turn out to be one of the best QBs ever. It's possible but highly unlikely.

Or, at the very least do not waste his prime years with a below average, and sometimes one of the worst, defense

Also, unless there is a major change in QB development; Shough could be a top 5 QB in the league and still not considered a great QB. Brees had to be one of the best ever because he was playing during the Brady, Manning, Rodgers era. Hell, a lot of those other QBs that are viewed as 2nd tier (Ryan, E Manning, Rivers...) would probably be the best QBs in the league if they were playing today

Goodell is the antichrist LGBTQ ring leader. Gayle is in bed with the Pope. What do you think?

Moore is putting something together. I think we will start to be in prime legitimate championship contending mode in about 3 years.

Not with Gayle and Mickey at the helm, be happy with that one.

We should have won in 2011 and 2018, but we choked it away in the playoffs. The 2018 no call was awful, but we should have won that game regardless.

Love this enthusiasm. For 25 bucks its worth the fun, especially if we are playing well enough to get into the playoffs.

It's certainly a possibility within the next decade...

If we’re good enough we will. It won’t have anything to do with Goodell. You guys are getting softer and softer every year with the conspiracy shite

I have no idea how you can say, "no chance". Hell, every team in the league has a chance. There are so many rudimentary factors at play that it's near impossible to know, beyond all doubt
Sure there are odds and past performance but to say there is " no chance" is ludicrous

If the damn Buccaneers can win 2 we can certainly win another. Even though their second one was with the NFL equivalent of a bunch of NIL 1 year mercenaries.

So they weren't here for the first one?

I mean, maybe? I never thought they'd win one so that's one more than my expectations allowed me to believe.

Safe money is on yes. As much as we hate on Loomis and Gayle, the Saints have at least been a competent organization the last 20 years. They hit a dark patch after Drew and Sean left, but they seem to be getting out of it and back on track.

The parity in the NFL means that if you hit on a draft or two, and plug holes with decent vets in free agency you can make a run.

I wish I had the patience of placing long term sports bets.

My luck I would place that bet and they would lose on a last second field goal in Overtime in the Superbowl.

In our lifetime? If it doesn’t happen under Moore and Shough (still a long shot) then it probably doesn’t happen again in our lifetime

Just wait until Tilman F or Todd Graves takes over as owner.

Some how Roger Goodell, manipulates a game for the Saints to win another one because of the ownership change.

BS. Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Tennessee have less than 0% chance. We are at 0%.

The coach is the only one with playoff experience on the team
Shough is a 2nd year player that only started what 9 games? A Saints SB wager is absolutely throwing money away. Might as well set it on fire. In another year or 2 it's possible but not this year.

Can we make the playoffs this year? Yes. But we will not win enough playoff games to go to the SB.
