Jim Haslett was the worst coach to ever coach the Saints. Just trying to put things in perspective for those who haven't seen the Saints at their worst.

And now he’s the commissioner getting revenge for all the years of hate.

I don't know man Mike Ditka might give him a run for his money.

No he wasn’t.

Do you realize that before CSP, Mora was the only coach we’ve had with a winning record?

Second most winningest coach? Haslett

Nice try kiddo

for my money the 2000 season was one of my favorites.

66 QB sacks.

first ever playoff win vs. defending champion Rams.

Haslett was our coach.

not bad.

I despised hazelet. Unlike Payton’s saints, his teams very seldom played hard. At least we just blow games at the end instead of getting blown out.

I like how the momo fans try to justify underachieving by saying 'well, we could be worse!'

Dumb take.

Haslett's "bad" seasons were around .500, with the exception of the Katrina season.

The 1990s were abysmal.

He's the one who started it...live on air...during a sports broadcast on wdsu.

beat the Bucs twice and they won it all that year.

2002.

that was Haslett for you though. Beat real good teams and that get crapped on by the Redskins or somebody like that at the end of the year.

also beat the Rams in 2001 when they won the NFC but crapped down the stretch that year too.

he had his moments but his drafts sucked towards the end mostly.

Yep, and then the wheels came off and got knocked out of playoff contention at home by... Minnesota.

Saints had a decent team that year, beat the SB champion Buccanneers twice.
