Two parent home hahahaha. You do realize this knocks out 75 percent of nfl players if not most the people in this country lol
That's just false. Dude, you are really sucking in all these threads. I'm not just saying that to be mean, its because I care. We have to be willing to have the hard conversations to make you a better poster.

My god with you people. Carr is the starter the next four years. The money committed to him, we aren’t cutting bait. We will draft someone in the 2025 draft but we are rolling with Carr and Winston for at least next two seasons.
Which is exactly why I said in the exact same post that it would be a bad idea to draft him or any QB at #40.

@ 40?
Brian Branch, S - Alabama
- Smart and solid tackler; strong in coverage
- can play as a nickel immediately or backup FS; grow into starter by next year or the following. Would allow us a young guy to grow under MM and TM.
O'Cyrus Torrence, OG Florida
- Well built guard who is fundamentally sound, but will struggle to hold up 1v1 against uber athletes like Donald.
- Better in run blocking than pass protection and that says a lot considering he gave up 0 sacks and 0 penalties this past year.
Keion White, DE Georgia Tech
- athletic with a high ceiling, decent floor
- needs better consistency overall, but a guy who can play inside and outside - which is a positive considering we do that with our DEs often.

Safety to me is an underrated position of need. I really am not thrilled at what we have there to be honest.

I think I agree. S/DB is underwhelming when looking at the roster.

Maye didn't impress me last year, and Badger is old and small.

I hate the idea of Hooker in the 2nd round, but this is just false. Carr's contract has an easy out after 2 years and again after 3. If he disappoints this season, we could easily draft a QB to replace him next year. Heck, we could draft Clayton Tune or DTR later in this draft (which I would like) and jettison Carr in two seasons if they develop unexpectedly well. But Hooker in the 2nd instead of a young starter when we haven't even seen what Carr is like as a Saint? Madness

While I don't want to draft a guard very high it could be just the thing to light a fire under two guys I know need their asses warmed up.
Branch is just a solid damn pick. He will get playing time right off and become a starter very quickly.
White has great upside and we need bodies on the D-line.
Hey...just get all three

Quan Martin is a Saints-type of prospect.

I agree 100%. our signings last year were...not optimal.

People also underrate how much of a difference a good Safety can make.
Can change the complexion of a Defense.

I agree but being the top rated safety in the draft I have doubts he makes it to us.

One of these four should be available and would be fine with me.
Mayer
White
Torrence
Branch
Mayer
White
Torrence
Branch

Please don't stereotype like that Lester.

he's not really a true safety. He's more a nickel safety which is why he slid imo.
