OL would be a lagniappe pick but both lines are really the only spots they’ve been proactive in adding for the future in the Loomis era.

O Cyrus Torrence, Mauch & Avila stand out at guard.

Dawand Jones, & Blake Freeland at OT. Jaelyn Duncan from Maryland had a top 30 visit. I think he is more of a mid round guy though

Brian Branch at 40
Cody Mauch at 71

I think the Saints will try and package a few picks and move back into the end of the 2nd round.

They'll try to get two players and one will be a running back

I agree cause there is going to be a run on Rb's in the 3rd round I think.

Zach Charbonnet or Tyjae Spears would be my guess.

And I can't see the Saints passing on Brian Branch at 40 if he's there.

Michael Mayers
Brian Branch
Zach Charbonnet
Tyjae Spears

If the Saints can somehow come out of today with two of these guys, it would be a great draft for the future.

Dawand Jones is going to drop like a rock. He’s the kid who went to the Senior Bowl and looked great the first day then refused to practice or play in the game the rest of the time or do meetings with teams. He’s got issues controlling his weight also as he’s around 380. I would pass on him. You give money to undisciplined kids it usually doesn’t turn out well.

It's about development age, not true age. Why is this so difficult for people to understand?

Hooker was an advanced 24.5 year old playing against most guys a year or two removed from HS. The advantage he had in college from developing late gets completely wiped out moving to the pro game, and significantly limits his projected ceiling.

If he does drop, the value at a 3rd round pick would be nice

Old white guys care more about that than people paid to acquire talent win games, ultimately

I don’t care as long as it’s one of Keion White, Drew Sanders, Darnell Washington or O’Cyrus Torrence. Hell if Levis or Hooker is still there I can’t get mad at that either but I hope we take a guy that can play right from the start. I love Keion White’s game I think he should have been the pick over Breese IMO. What does everyone think?

I like your list plus I would add Isaiah Foskey to it. Good size, great athleticism, and very productive. If we don't get a DE in the 2nd, I would love YaYa Diaby in the 3rd.

Old white guys? How do you come to that conclusion? What about old black guys? Or old Asian guys? What about middle aged Pakistanis? Race has zero to do with a kid’s choices and his desire to be the best player he can be. Look at Kayshon right now. He was a top 15 lock 1 year ago and now he’s nuclear waste. Nobody is touching him. He will get drafted in the 3rd or 4th but he will have had sacrificed $20+ million dollars because he chose to be a jackass.

This is playing like shite? 60.8 comp %, 3,522 yds, 24 TD, 14 int, 86.3 rating

That’s average numbers with MCDaniels who sucks as a HC. Even if he puts up these numbers, with our defense we will win the division.

Would you buy Hooker at 71? Will he be there?

Lol go watch his games. Throwing stats out mean nothing. If he was this good, they would have kept him. He lost to us with Andy Dalton at QB but yeah keep hyping up the dumb stats.

You might be right, but the Saints care too. They have a type. Two parent home, good character, high RAS. You said it earlier. Does the kid fit this profile? Doesn't sound like it.

You two arguing about Carr has no value to this thread. Carr is signed and will be the QB for the next few years.
