I’m going with the reverse with multiple handoffs that ultimately went to big, slow Josh Hill and then he got smoked in the backfield.

What are some of your favorite bone-headed Saints plays and which one was worst?

Reverse to Reggie Bush call by Payton. Was fumbled and cost us the game.

Also using a linebacker, Sedrick Hodge I believe, to cover Randy Moss. Of course Moss caught the game winning td.

Whatever the hell Mora was attempting to do in the entire 4th quarter of the 1993 playoff game vs the eagles.

Malcolm X Jenkins one on one coverage against Vernon Davis for 40 yards. Our best team ever down the drain.

1983 Rams at Saints playoff spot on the line. Saints had the ball at the Rams 35 on a 4th and 1 less than 2 minutes left and Bum punted rather than go for it with Rogers or kick a 52 yarder with Andersen. Of course the Rams scored to win the game.

Whatever the defensive play call was for the Miracle whip in Minnesota.

I realize the rookie whiffed on the tackle.

Before a Hail Mary pass you need to put a veteran back there to help out

Honorable mention:

The defensive play calling on Beast Mode in the Seattle playoff game.

Should have known Marshawn Lynch was going to run it. Stack the damn box. Tackle the legs

Basically Dennis Allen's defensive play call against every mobile quarterback the Saints faced in 2023

Pretty sure that wasn’t the designed play.

It’s the Reggie reverse by a country mile… I can’t remember now but it’s my recollection that the loss may have kept us out of the playoffs?

I couldn’t believe we kept blitzing like that at the end.

In recent history, the two that come to mind are fake punts where the ST coach didn't know that gunners can't get called for PI on the fake. To be fair, I didn't know either... but I'm not an NFL coach.
