The Dennis Allen saints got a couple years of unearned prime time games due to our history and now the current era will get snubbed for a couple years. There’s always lag with this stuff.

In 2024 we were 5-12 and in 2025 6-11. Thats the reason. Consecutive years of a bad records combined with us not playing big opponents except for the Bears, Maybe the Lions, maybe the Ravens, and Greenbay. If we go undefeated going into the Bears game I think we get 2 of our 12pm games flexed. Who knows though, if we are dominating games we might get a flex with the Vikings in week 5.

What sends me into orbit is the Cowboys getting 6 games... I turn the game off when the Cowboys are on...
I am OK with the Saints getting one PT game.. I mean they really didn't do shite last year... If they do well this year and don't more than one game next year then we can get pissed...

I think it is highly unlikely the Saints win more than 7 or 8 games. They will be much more entertaining to watch than any team DAllen produced, but they still don’t have the numbers.
The future looks bright, but this team is still a year (and another good draft) from being better than mediocre.
I know the fanboys here won’t like it, and I don’t give a shite. The team will be competitive and entertaining this year, but they ain’t winning shite.

Did you ever wear your bag into the dome

Meh, I'd personally prefer every game to be on Sunday at noon if that wasn't generally an indicator of how bad the team is. Guess I am alone in that.

Nope, but the team sure did suck for about 70% of the season (cough, cough, RATTLER!, cough, cough)

First you have to look at our opponents and if there is any history there they can push a story for in primetime, or a story about this QB vs that QB. Then you project how good our team and our opponents' teams will be.
Nah, you have it backwards. If you have to defend on the opponent then you do not have any appeal.
Superstars, and Good teams playing one another have appeal.

Kool Aid a superstar ? His ceiling is probably just a solid #2 in the league.

The Saints have 0 Superstars on the roster. Primetime games are for teams that have Superstars and can draw in viewers. Now if they get on a roll and win some games, im sure the NFL will flex a game or 2 at the end of the year to get some exposure for Shough if he's the next young QB Superstar.

Never said he was superstar. I said it’s there for the taking. It’s up to him to go get it.

The prime time schedule is usually dogshit. What are we even doing here.

I can see us getting flexed into one later in the year. 1 in the regular is fine. We will have 2-3 primetime postseason games.
Let the rest of the league sleep, until it's too late and all of a sudden the Saints are marching into the NFC Championship game.

its pretty irrelevant unless you have season tickets.

We got 6 wins last year. You think the fricking Browns are getting a prime time game? Until we get to 8 wins like the other 3 division teams we don't need any. We shouldn't have got 1 to be honest.

fricking explain fricking that.
I used the Browns as an example because nobody outside of Cleveland gives a shite about the browns. Same with Cincinnati. Those 2 franchises are always going to be bottom feeders. I'll be surprised if they ever win a SB.
