Specifically picks made at 16 and 19, I'm excluding a trade up in this scenario.

I'll say:

16: Kenny Pickett, QB

19: Zion Johnson, Guard

I think QB definitely has to be in there. Aside from that, primary melt positions include:

Interior OL
Defensive End
Running Back

Secondary melt positions include:

Linebacker
Cornerback

Edit: Personally I’m melting if we leave the first without a WR, unless we got absolutely fricked (5 WRs go before our picks) or there’s just insane talent like Hamilton, Stingley or Davis available at our picks.

Pick 16 and 19 for Pick 5 and then draft Pickett.

Devin Lloyd is a player at LB. Wouldn’t melt if we picked him at 16 or 19.

OT and WR are going. Saints can get 1st and 2nd top LB in draft. LB Corp will set for next 5 yrs. Saints pick best player no reaches.

Stingley falls to 16, we pass, and the Chargers take him at 17. That’s the biggest melt potential.

Biggest melt in saints history will be when we move into the top 10 to pick Matt Corral.

I'm really hoping that no QB is taken in the first 21 picks and GB is sitting there with every one still on the board. Would be a super fun 15 minutes.

I’d be a little upset if we took him in the 2nd to be honest. Not a big melt but upset.

QB, RB

There's going to be some solid players still on the board in positions of need.

Keep in mind we drafted Peyton Turner last year who I dont think saw the field. Is he still even on the team?
