Guess we found out who the third team is.

This is per Aaron Wilson on Twitter who has been the one all over the Watson news from the beginning

LINK

Guess we have to hope Watson tells the Texans he will only waive the no trade clause if it’s us or Carolina. Could be a tactic by the Texans to drive up the asking price to two players instead of one. But could be Cleveland comes in and snatches him away.

Watson is probably dumb enough to believe he could be a champion in Cleveland with Amari Cooper and Chubb. Gotta hope that’s not enough and that he would prefer to play in a dome for 10 games a year + Thomas and Kamara

Is it worrysome that he is leaving without a deal after talking to NO’s brass?

No. I don’t think any deal was going to be made until after Watson speaks tomorrow. I think something happens soon though. A lot of teams are going to get antsy and start pulling the trigger on Jimmy G, Jameis, etc. Which will speed things up, especially for the Saints

Wouldnt be surprised if Watson ends up in Cleveland. This seems like the OBJ situation all over again. Where the Saints are the favorite and then another team comes in with a better offer and the player goes there.

Cleveland lmao. That place is major suckage in ever aspect. From the team, to the leadership to the city.

Cleveland definitely has the best marketing and field decor though. Plus natural grass.

The Browns have arguably the most ambitious and forward-thinking field design approach in the entire league. They will go through 4 or 5 varying end zone styles and colors each season. They were one of the first to coordinate the specific end zone colors of that week to the color jersey the Browns wore (ie: Brown end zone when brown jerseys, orange end zone with orange jerseys, etc.)

And while I like the Saints' color rush uniforms the best, they are worn so infrequently that I'd have to say Cleveland has the best uniform concept of the 3 teams being condidered.

The other thing that struck me is this: all things considered, might Deshaun most prefer to play for a team that features orange prominently in their color scheme?

Think about it - he wore orange in college at Clemson when he won a national title and a Heisman trophy. It probably stands to reason that he'd like to go back to orange after having minimal success in Houston with red and navy.

Of the three teams that Deshaun Is said to be considering: our Saints, the Panthers, and the Browns, do you know that only the Browns have orange?

Everything he posts is part of a schtick. Same with Rohan. They’re the worst.

Hopefully the Saints can convince him that playing in a domed stadium vs cold/snow in Cleveland is a more attractive situation.

He never came here. The Panthers and Saints went to Houston.

This isn't free agency. He has to give a thumbs up to a team who then also has to agree to a trade with the Texans.

If we gonna miss out, please be Cleveland and not Carolina.

If Houston takes baker, maybe we should pursue mills

I think the Browns are a team he’s interested in for whatever reason. Despite them not having much success outside of one playoff run the last several years.

I just have a gut feeling that’s where he ends up. We give NFL players too much credit. Most of them are dumb as frick and don’t think as rationally as us. To us and the rest of the league, picking us is the smartest choice. And they can and will offer more. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them want to offload four first round picks plus baker and hunt and whoever else. I think whatever they offer, the Saints will have to match.

This does not matter. Watson controls the market.

Could be wrong but just don’t see Cleveland being a threat. They haven’t shown to be anymore competent then the shite show he’s trying to get away from
