No. We are lacking in many other positions that should take priority over RB. Saints are gonna have a long season this year.

I’ll trade them Foskey for Robinson. But I’m not resigning him. Someone else said it best that he’s the definition of average.

Unless you have a YOUNG Adrian Peterson-type, it just makes no sense to pay a running back nowadays. There are just too many decent to good running backs out there who you don’t have to pay. Robinson is going to be wanting way too much money AND a long-term deal at the end of the year. The Saints just aren’t in a position to do that. They’re not going to be a playoff contender for at least a few years– assuming they get their shite together AND fire Mickey Loomis. Until then (and even when you get there) avoid expensive running backs.

Wow traded to the 49ers for a 6th round pick. John Lynch is a great gm. Meanwhile dumbass Mickey gives up a 4th and 7th for Vele.

And you would have bitched if Loomis gave up a 6th for Robinson so what’s the difference.

Robinson is due a big contract, hence why he was so cheap

Not true. Thats a really good value for a player of his caliber. I actually like Vele as a player, just don't love giving up a 4th.

Hell I'd trade Vele for Robinson straight up right now. Who wouldn't?
