Seems like they are scared to release anything because there just isn’t much to it. Goodell is a joke.
Didn't Tag do an independent study and basically try to reverse all of Goodell's penalties.

Nah, the Saints weren't singled out by that piece of shite Goodell. No way...

“The league announced the bounties and that (former Saints defensive coordinator) Gregg Williams said the same things the Giants were saying. They took it to the highest level they could with the Saints. But it seemed like the league decided it was no big deal what the Giants said.”
What Giants special teamers Jacquian Williams and Devin Thomas said after New York’s 20-17 overtime victory sounded similar to what the Saints were sanctioned for. “The thing is, we knew he had four concussions, so that was our biggest thing was to take him out of the game,” said Jacquian Williams, who forced the 49ers returner’s overtime fumble, which set up the winning field goal.

The saints were not any more aggressive than any other defense in the league in regards to players. Hell the 9ers D nearly ended Eli's life in that 2011 title game. He just toughed it out in an amazing manner.

The 2nd 2nd rounder being taken still was bullshite

I listened to the segment and Will Cain was skeptical of what Vilma said. My take after listening is it will not persuade you either way.

So Will Cain is doubtful eh? Hmmm will ponder this more.

and we all had to watch PT get knocked out of the game on the 1st drive of our game the week before.
I know we had our chances later on and took the lead twice late in the game but that play sort of set the tone for that day IMO.

The biggest proof against Bountygate and the only proof that’s really needed is that the Saints under Gregg Williams almost never injured anyone. If there was this system in place, given a sport as violent as NFL football, there should have been way more injuries in those games.

I’ve gotta be honest. This season is what soured my interest in the nfl. The sonofabitch of it is, I honestly believe if Roman Harper makes one goddamned play at anytime in the 4th quarter, the Saints probably win the Super Bowl and this shite never happens. There no fricking way the NFL is going to slander the marketing and money opportunities of its champion.
I don’t believe for one min the Saints did anything malicious in a game built on big punishing hits. This was nothing but an example the league could use to justify with the attorneys in the concussion lawsuit. The greed of the owners truly knows no bounds. It’s laughable when you think about it.
We had a season stolen from us with lasting impacts especially with the lost draft picks. There’s no other way to look at it.

Anyone Remember, When the former commissioner before Goodell, I forgot his name, basically reviewed the evidence and said it was out of line for suspending the franchise the way it did.

Iirc the only person we took out of a game all year in 2011 was a Car LB, so unless the offense had bounties too it was all bullshite.

That's the way I see it and will always see it.

No Saints fan can ever forget Tagliabue. He made Benson keep the Saints in New Orleans following Katrina and he overturned the suspensions of Vilma, Will Smith, Hargrove and Fujita.

I remember Hargrove being blackballed out of the league after all the shite he went through to get back in because Goodell's prosecutor said you could see him say something like "where's my money" in the video after the hit on Farve and it was proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that his lips weren't moving and Ayodele said it.

Williams said some dirty shite in there, but I heard very similar when I played ball.
It amazed me how many people were appalled by this. Like, have yall watched football before?

It was basically the reason I stopped watching espn. Literally the day before, they were talking on nfl live about how their job on defense was to hurt the offensive player and get him out of the game. Then bountygate broke and they were like, there's no place for that in football.

I mean, we have soooooOoooOoOooooo much evidence. Thousands of pages. Have you seen them? I know I haven’t.
THAT right there, is what pissed me off the most. They made a big deal about having 50,000 plus pages of evidence. All they had was a fricking like 10 page power point. It's like JV said... They were made an example of because the league was scared shitless due to the concussion lawsuits. They had to act like they cared about safety after glorifying big hits forever. My favorite line he said was, "I get paid millions of dollars to be violent, and now that suddenly is frowned upon??"
Also liked what Russillo said when Will Cain brought up the Gregg comments. He said how is it any different if a guy is in the game on a bad leg or shoulder and you run right at him, as opposed to him having a head injury? Thats suddenly okay?
Also, would looooove to hear what Paul Tag said to JV behind closed doors. Maybe we will get a book someday, but That should give you some insight to how much of a joke the league's argument was.
