Referring to the draft process

Its a lowkey pretty big position of need. Kamara despite the extension is near that point where guys drop off, and the depth is less than ideal.

Moore loves to run the ball.

No matter how good the 30 year old running back is, it's never a bad idea to have a second one in reserve. You cut bait immediately as soon as the decline starts.

And it doesn't hurt to have two weapons getting 15-20 reps each per game. Two fresh, elite running backs can make an offense scary. Our best years had tandems lighting it up.

Thomas/Bush
Sproles/Thomas
Kamara/Ingram

Everybody is about to be on the Josh Williams train in the 4th round! Satisfy the LSU/Saints fan.

Awesome! Honestly think we need two in some capacity with one being a late round guy obviously. Would love a smaller guy who can house a 60 yard run/screen as well as a mauler.

I like Dylan Sampson in the 3rd or Trevor Etienne in the 4th.

Did you see his measurable today and LSU proday?? 4.4 40. 42 vertical ( wouldve been 3rd among all rbs in combine). Guy is built like a tank and has great hands and is a very very solid blocker.

Saints should take Jeanty in the first and stop drafting project DE's with the 1st pick.

Get the best athlete at his position with your first pick or two and use your lower draft picks on depth players and projects.

Ollie Gordon would be a solid one

Kamara had a goal for last year to have 1000 carry yards and fell short.

The decline has already started.

We definitely need to get a RB in this draft.

I’d like to get someone like Sampson or Smith that has a lot of speed. But I’d be good with a Judkins or Ollie Gordon too.

Honestly, we have so many needs and just need talent.

This is definitely a good draft to do so. Lots of quality RBs will be available in the mid rounds.

I don't care what anyone says, give me Skattebo. He can definitely fill the Ingram type roll.

All of that is unlikely to move him from not getting drafted to the 4th round. He is likely to be a priority FA or late pick with that now.

Anything can happen though, you never know

Trade back

This is the most worn out phrase every draft. It takes another team wanting to move up for a certain player & the right compensation for this to happen. It's not easy like on Madden.

Just some buzz but the Saints RB coach spent some time with Josh before going to Jeanty’s pro day.

Not a 4th round pick but 6 or 7 is realistic. He can do too many things well, pass block, get a tough yard, special teams (punt and kickoff). And a good guy teammate in a time where that’s not always the norm. That’s great value in the late rounds.

If he doesn’t get drafted he will still get a nice contract. Love to see him in NO.

The Saints will have a heavy presence at Ohio State pro day and they have 2 backs
