I think the Paris thing is a massive deal. I think if they go over there and they embarrass themselves in Paris, everything is on the table. I I've been told that that's maybe the thing that's been most important to her in in quite some time.

That's so retarded.

I still think they are in deep shite if they lose to the Giants. They might be able to salvage it if they win in Paris and continue to win, but the ball might already be in motion at that point depending on how they respond. can they turn it around? sure but that wouldn't give them much breathing room to fix it

At that point though who cares?

I don’t think anyone really thinks it’s do or die for anything meaningful for the next two games.

The only thing I really care about from this point forward is keeping Shough from being ruined beyond repair. I don’t know if canning Moore early really does that as he was obviously at least somewhat instrumental in bringing him along.

If that's the case, then Moore is already done.

I don't think Moore is a good coach. I've been open about that. The writing is on the wall.

But, the guy lost his LT and hasn't had his #1 draft pick available. Making a move at this point shows there's no real plan.

Everyone was concerned Gayle just didn't care. Nobody considered that the depth of her understanding was wins and losses. That's every bit as bad.

I can't tell either, but my point wasn't about her being a woman.

It was more a reflection on a person who has no understanding of running a business or organization to the point where strategy and planning are required to meet end goals.

Instead, if true, apparently she placed a lot of eggs in the Paris basket, with the realization that a poor showing would hurt that endeavor and never considered the possibility until now that the team that has been bad for multiple years in a row might still be bad.

And, worse, that because of that failed endeavor, might decide to make major changes. It's arse backwards to how effective organizations operate.

To me the problem is the regression. They look worse than last year with a supposedly upgraded line

A lot of these issues are coaching

And a lot are on the players. Missing or currently playing.

And a lot on those on the staff that picked them.

And a lot on a owner who doesn't know football who put her trust in the people that do.

And warm too expensive beer at home games.

Glad she is finally doing something

Just wished she valued her actual fans Saints and Pels vs a foreign market

But dont care what thrust her into action finally.

As long as I never have to hear Loomis talk down to fans again and insulting our intelligence about what good football teams or coaches look like especially when discussing the 2025 Saints. Fricking Clown.

I said this during the MNF game. The only way you're going to get to change is through embarrassment. Ask Brian Kelly, you won't get change with mediocre 7-9 or 6-10.

That said, the Saints getting blown out in Paris would be her most embarrassing moment because she was the catalyst for the game in France.

Last year was mostly smoke and mirrors. All of the wins came late.

Losing Banks is huge. You can't just ignore it. If you spend 2 minutes watching the games, you can see it severely hampers the offense. Shough has no real time.

We invested nothing in the defense. And, we lost our leader and best, albeit older, defensive player.

Our best chance of improving was on the basis of adding another elite threat to the WR room and as a result being able to dictate to the defenses. Presumably that would have had a secondary positive impact on the running game. And, we wouldn't be facing constant pressure because of the threat of being beaten downfield.

But, we know that hasn't happened because Tyson is hurt. Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I'd like to see how that evolved. I guess it depends on how good Tyson actually is and of course getting Banks back.

Olave is basically uncoverable. I think this offense could do some things if Tyson were to show up and be a legit threat.

Agree with everything but...

Obviously, Shough was the catalyst.

But, we weren't a team that was .500+ on paper. People said "6 wins last year...we'll win at least 8".

That wasn't a reasonable expectation. We were going to have to improve significantly to do that.
