C - McCoy hasn't played a full season last two years, who is the backup on the roster - looks like it's Ruiz as of now

PR - Brown can handle kick returns but he's never really handled punt returns - that's a crucial field position player

Ruiz was running with the 2s in a lot of practice sessions. I imagine he moves to Center and we plug in another guard if needed. (Preferably J.Wright).

My biggest concern is CB. If we have any injury issues this season, especially from Kool-Aid, we're in a bad spot.

CB it terrible. We are counting on Kool Aid to be a #1, Riley to be healthy, Emerson to return to a high level after a leg injury and a white dude. I think they should consider trading for Gonzalez or Porter. We aren't paying anyone big money right now and they would fix so much on this defense.

We have concerns at DT, LB, and CB on the defense.

If we end up with a solid defense this year, Staley should be given a head job somewhere as he would have done a tremendous job.

Gonzalez, as in one of the top CBs in the league Christian Gonzalez?

Completely agree. Sure id like to be better at DE2, backup OT, and a better DT,.. but our problems start and end with corner and the lack of elite talent and lack of quality depth.

In Staley’s defense we use one of the safeties as essentially a corner so it’s not as bad as it looks. Probably also a reaction to proliferation of 12 and 13 personnel base offenses by a lot of teams in the league.

Same with receivers. A lot of teams are going light at corner and receiver compared to recent years while loading up on TEs and safeties/hybrid defenders.

More broadly speaking we all knew (or should have known) come out of the off season that we are not going to be well-stocked everywhere. The team was disciplined this off season and did what was necessary to put a competitive team on the field and keep allowing Shough/Moore to improve and build on culture, but we finally took our lumps with the cap.

Were going to have real cap space next off season for the first time in a decade which should allow us to shore up position groups in a way we haven’t been able to in years.

KoolAid is a #2 playing #1, and Riley is at best a #3 playing #2...and dinged up

Emerson was scorched vs backups of the Rams

Its a tough spot, one we all wanted addressed this offseason but it didn't happen

We do not have any concerns at LB. What's the concern, we have to trade Werner because there's a 3rd starter on the bench?

DT is a depth concern, although I'd rather upgrade the starters. Same with CB.

Trading for a stud CB and moving KoolAid to CB2 is more ideal than adding random depth at CB/ DT.

Price was fielding kicks and maybe punts too. I could have sworn Brown returned punts in the preseason games.

My concern of the the Oline depth as a whole.

something tells me the 53 man today isn't going to be the same 53 man come 9/13 in Detroit.

Easily the best position group on the team

You have several positions with backup-caliber players lol. Cant be worried about OL depth

We have concerns but we have much less concerns going into year 2 than year 1, I’ll take that.
