Say what you will...I think there's potential with him

Buffalo Bills FA Mitchell Trubisky is expected to have interest from the Saints, Giants, and Steelers.

Yikes...Allen's HC tenure here may be shorter than his time with the Raiders

Trubisky is not as bad as his tenure in CHI would lead you to believe.

Nagy was that terrible.

That being said i don't want him.

Absolutely not. Jameis all day over him

1 year deal at least as a backup, sure.
We need to prioritize signing Jameis though. It’s the most logical option because even with all the talk, Russ and Rodgers are probably staying put.

I certainly prefer Winston, but we better have back up plans. I think trubisky is a decent option as that back up plan

If we signed Trubisky to be our starter I’d pretty much be done with Allen. Now if we are signing him as a backup/Taysom replacement, then I’d be okay with it.

You can always do worse, but damn, I hope we do better. He was simply awful in Chicago.

Trubisky is the answer for teams that do not have any other options. He is not the answer to solving a need for a good QB. He was over promoted by the media when he came out of college and his play on the field shows that.

Its QB's like Trubisky that is going to get Winston bigger money than he should probably get this offseason.

He's 29-21 as a starter and made the playoffs twice/won the division once. He wasn't lighting it up but he definitely wasn't "awful".

Mitch went to the playoffs twice with Nagy as a head coach ... he may be the greatest QB of all time.

I actually liked him as a "Payton Project"

Alas...Payton quit on the team

I would rather take my chances with Winston.

A signing like this would indicate to me that we are for sure going the draft route

Didn't he take a Matt Nagy offense to the playoffs twice?
