They had an elite defense in 2018 and were 8-8 in 2020.
Not sure how Trubisky makes us better than the 9-8 we already accomplished with our own elite defense.

If I'm not mistaken he was a Pro Bowl player in his 2nd year and went to the playoffs, then the 2nd time they went he missed half the season.
They also had the #1 scoring defense, and top 5 overall defense in 2018. Defense was middle of the pack in 2020

Trubisky seemed to get worse as each season progressed. That's partly on Nagy imo. Think he can only be saved by the great QB guru Sean Payton lmao.

I don't hate it. Here is the deal. I see Jameis as having a ceiling. I still think that Trubisky could still have something unseen.
So the question is do you want 11-6 or 10-7 with Jameis and maybe a first round win or would you rather gamble on getting 10-7 and 2-3 playoff wins.
If we are not going totally rebuild then i want the guy i think can take us the furthest. I think Jameis can play week to week and make the playoff, but he is not show the metal to carry a team to a victory.
