I love Winston as a backup, at his current salary.

Winston may not even be better than Wilson, but even if he is it'd be only marginally better and not good enough to trade any assets for. Best bet is to probably just roll with Wilson and find a backup free agent.

Joe Flacco was there the last 2 seasons and is a free agent.
Carson Wentz is another one that is a free agent.
Colt McCoy is another good backup candidate that is free agent
Matt Corral may even be worth a shot if his weekend bender is done

I doubt the Jets are THAT stupid.
have you paid attention to their franchise and fans for the past half century?

Even if they make great moves, their luck keeps them desperate.

They aren't a backup QB away from suddenly being a playoff team...

Yet, somehow they managed to beat the odds on favorites to win their division with their current backup.

You clearly have not watched Wilson play if you say that. You may want to watch some of his games and then make a rationale judgment.

There is no possible way the above post is anything but satire.

Winston has always been hot garbage. The only season he had worth a shite was when Sean played conservative as hell and wouldn't let him pass the ball any further than Brees did with a dead arm.

The pick you will get for Winston isn’t going to be great. Backups don’t go for much. Almost feel like we are better off keeping him in case for some reason carr goes down.

Stop.

If Haener wasn't suspended maybe you listen to a call from the Jets but no, the Saints are not trading Winston unless it's a ridiculously crazy offer they can't refuse.

Wilson wasn’t good enough after a few years to make the Jets NOT want to sign a washed Aaron Rodgers

Winston injury/multiple fractured vertebrea
was reason he didn't play

Is this real? The internet says they are talking and that's it...

It’s up to the Jets to make the first move if they have interest, not the Saints. Saints have all of the leverage to get at least a good 4th round pick for him.

I'd rather have Lance or Trask over Winston if I'm trading for a back up. At least there's a chance they don't suck.

Cooper Rush is the guy they should get.
