Trade Rattler for a mid to late round draft pick?

Keep Wilson with an extension and let Coach Moore continue to develop him. He might be a Brock Purdy type QB for the Saints, should Shough get injured.

Nobody wants him after that showing. More valuable as a 3rd qb to us

Yep, he’s a trash QB that struggles in live action, the team should definitely hold out for a 3rd round pick for him

Don't think there is much of a market after that game. He's still worth more to us, even as a 3rd stringer, than some 6-7 pick swap or similar nothing pick we might get for him.

He was never good enough to get a mid round pick. This isn't madden. No one is giving up a pick for a 1-12 qb.

There is no market for him. No one is going to trade for a 5 round QB who is 1-13 as a starter and clearly can't read a defense.

You need a trade partner first. No one is going to give you a mid round draft pick for a QB that has consistently shown he cant even be a competent backup.

Seems many feel that the worse they say the back up QB is the more likely a team will trade for him.

Be careful. You just woke up the Rattler fan club who will come running in soon to tell you how it is ridiculous to even suggest trading him and how great it is to have a backup who "knows the system" yet doesn't actually play well enough to win in games (1-13 as a starter).
I agree. It's highly unlikely that anyone gives up a mid-round pick for him. But if they were dumb enough to do so, the Saints would be even dumber for not strongly considering it.

He's 6'0", doesnt make great decisions or see the whole field. Hes not Brees.
Id rather get a vet to be QB 3 that can help Shough and Wilson.

Zach Wilson is the only one with value. Might be able to flip him for a 6th, maybe a 5th if he plays well again next game and a team has a need at backup QB. If he plays well though he’s more valuable to us as the #2. Rattler to me is a fringe #3/practice squad guy.

Really? I saw him throw INT's and fumble the ball, then have the biggest grin and smile on the sideline. McCarthy even stated he had to dumbdown his playbook for Brooks.
