I don’t see us winning more than 8 games this year.

Anyone paying attention knew this roster would take more than 1 year to rebuild. The hope is we can possibly win in a very weak NFC South next year. At the very minimum we should compete for the NFC South title.

We are somewhat dilusional.

Of course it still has limits. But nobody picked though the middle and late rounds was changing that this year. It’s a multi year rebuild that we’re doing the right way.

I think it depends on what you mean and what your expectations were. Did you expect the roster to be upgraded to the point of Super Bowl contender in one draft? I sure didn’t.
But do you think the roster has been improved? I very much do. Yes, we have holes on D that we need to fill but the Saints put some serious talent around Shough who had to make do with precious little last year and still looked very good. Even with the limited weapons, Shough went 5-4 last year, and I see no reason why the Saints won’t contend in the South this year.
